One of the use cases in the Smart City where the Sigfox technology is perfectly adapted: the mechanical part of the hydrant had to be redesigned in order to integrate the complete electronic set.

Hydrants must be operational at all times because the moment of an incident cannot be predicted. It is required a remote monitoring of the status 24 hours a day, 7 days a week:

• Hydrant open or closed
• Fire hydrant bent
• Drainage not working
• Risk of freezing
• Low battery
